I started out in commercial radio when I was 18. Hooked on music,
but frustrated at not being able to play a musical instrument, being
a DJ was my way of getting as close to the tunes as I could get.
My 22 year radio journey took me from rock and roll, to country,
to gospel, to easy listening, to oldies rock, to hard rock, and then
back to country music. Along the way there were even a few stints in
radio news and a degree earned in Broadcast Journalism.

At 40 came a midlife crisis in the form of a drastic career change.
I retired in 2010 as a Supervisor for the Social Security Adminitration.

I am married to Sarah and we have three grown children and five grandchildren.
We live in the Florida Panhandle, close to Panama City Beach.
We are very active in our church and the American Cancer Society's annual Relay For Life.

My sports passions are baseball and softball. I have been a men's softball coach
for 32 years. I also love fishing and photography.
